[hot off the presses, this one, horrendous new clothes and all. wherever it is in the DR's apartment building that Lea's chosen to roost, that's where Isa's getting ~~yeeted~~ catapulted, quite literally. at least it had the decency to drop her outside the apartment, right? enjoy the distinct sound of someone colliding hard with the wall next to the door and crumpling into a groaning mess on the floor. there's sand on her shoes, and a familiar frisbee came with her, dropped a short distance from where she landed. knock knock, Lea.]

[is it though. Isa risks a look between her fingers, and friend, you are doin' me a concern, why was that your reaction. this is actually hell, isn't it, she's died again and this is hell. muffled: ]

We have to leave this room immediately.

[ Honestly, she was trying to get its attention so it would leave Isa alone and she didn't know how else to communicate. Also look at me, I have fire powers too!! ]

If this shit doesn't disappear when we leave I'm removing it myself.

[whatever her previous reaction was is gone now and has been replaced by stony disgruntlement. it's still not actual anger or freaking out, at least.]

Yeah no, I don't think so.

[ She's going to set remaining bottles she was holding down and then calmly back out of the room. She wants to keep an eye on Isa, you see. ]

I'd like to see you stop me.

[she's just grumbling now, don't mind her. why did she have to get all supernatural stuff when all Lea got was feathers and a squid arm? why u do me like this, dressing room, you're not making a good impression so far. she'll follow Lea out of the room.]

If it involves shredding parts of yourself you bet I will.

[ After walking out the door nothing much seems to happen, at least at first. A couple feathers fall to the ground with Lea's movements, but with the length of the tentacles it's hard to tell if they're retracting or unchanged at all. ]

[to Isa's great relief, when she passes through the doorway the goat head falls off immediately and resumes yelling when it hits the floor. she kicks it into the potion room, throwing the half a snake that also just fell off after it, and slams the door shut. the remaining wing dissolves into sparkles, but the antennae, ears, and mane seem to be staying for now, which is fine with her. and she absolutely remembered to grab her jacket before they left the room, even though i didn't, whoops.]

That's better, and no bloodshed was needed.

[ Yeah Lea's just going to stare after all of that, because she's seen spell effects disappear abruptly like that, but not in the same way. It fell off, and that's kind of... ]

[she looks a little less grumpy now, and is very subtly :eyes: at the fact that Lea seems to have kept the tentacle hand. obviously that IS moving way too fast, but it's a nice fantasy she's going to hold onto for a while. she feels her head to determine what parts she was left with, and frowns when her hand comes away covered in sparklies.]

Yes. Time for a closet with clothes in it, everything I'm wearing has rips and fairy dust now.

[she sees you and now knows why you were so interested in taking pictures of her, Lea. B| ]

[ The tentacle hand is actually withdrawing, just much slower than the feathers are falling out and stuff. She reaches up to scratch her face with it, in fact, then jerks a little when she feels it. Oh well, time to keep moving- Hey... ]

[aw. oh well. wouldn't do to start things off with possibly the best option ever, i guess.]

Yeah. I hope you weren't too attached to it.

[ No she wasn't attached to it at all. She dusts herself off with the hand-hand and then heads for a closet closer to her room. This has been a lot of adventure. ]

What're you after? It's harder to find specific clothes than it is to find specific weird rooms, if you can believe it.

Uh. Just somewhere with pants and long-sleeved shirts, I guess. I don't really care as long as it's comfortable and keeps me warm.

[also greyscale, but she's not conscious of that preference yet. the formative years for developing a personal image sort of got cut short.]

[ Totally doable. Here you go, let's say they've been walking and the closet is right at this intersection of halls. Lea's gonna open the door (both hands are now hands again) and now Isa can see why it's called the dressing room. Clothes for daaays. ]

[*-* Isa's not a huge clothing person, but damn. she drops her jacket by the door and wades in, metaphorically speaking; within a minute or two it'll become obvious that her tastes run towards leggings and slouchy turtlenecks in black and grey but mostly grey. assuming Lea's not just going to sit there and watch, though, there are some specific items nearby that Isa definitely needs and hasn't found yet. that's not even getting into the moon-themed silver jewelry section, or the fact that she also needs undies and sleepy clothes.]

[ Yeah no, she didn't come here to just stand outside, although she might have come here more to watch Isa be a normal person than to like... look for clothes for herself. She does pick up a hooded flannel for herself before spotting the tank top. It's funny enough that she immediately slings it over her shoulder, because yes. The pants... she doesn't really know enough about Isa's sense of fashion now to be able to figure out if she'd even like it, really, but they're pretty, and they're rad as fuck, so she'll pick them up (and the scarf) with the intent of showing them to her. Are they too girly? Is anything too girly? Whatever, time to wander over. ]

[Isa's looking critically between two tops that are extremely similar, as if 1) they're a lot more different than they actually are and 2) she can't just take both. so the answer is that she definitely needs more girly stuff and also assistance. hell, enough time with a heart and nothing extreme going on and you might even get her into a skirt at some point.

she's got a few items of clothing draped over her shoulder, anyway, all fairly boring full-coverage warm clothes for a boring person who either was given the Gackt tracksuit set or picked it out herself and went yes, this is ideal.]

Mhmm. Can I assume everything is magically the correct size? It all seems to be so far, but.

Pretty much. Sometimes clothes just appear in your rooms.

[ She isn't watching her as intently as Isa's studying those tops, but there is a particular amount of concentration in the way Lea's watching her that is more subtle than most people give her credit for. Then her brow furrows like she's about to laugh, and she reaches for one of them. ]

You know you can just take both of these, right? Gimme that.

[ It's just so nice to see her doing something normal, like eating breakfast or brushing her hair, or picking out clothes. It's similar to how things used to be, but it's also better, because it means that Isa is better. Isa's here again. ]

[you're right, that was pretty gay. Isa goes very slightly pink and lets Lea take one, putting the other one on the pile on her shoulder.]

I've never been able to just take clothes before. Did you find anything interesting?

[besides that flannel monstrosity which will probably look great on Lea, goddammit.]

[ She tosses it over the shoulder with the tank top, which she fully intends to just let Isa find in her pile of clothes later, but she does offer up the pants (are they even pants? Lea doesn't know) for show. ]

Dunno if these are your style, but I think they'd look good on you. This one's for me.

[ Patting the flannel on her other shoulder. ]

It's funny, I'm seeing it around a lot lately.

[Isa looks surprised and then pleased, and takes the pants to examine them. sexy isn't usually her style, but they are pretty, and why the hell not, she has her whole life ahead of her now, plus a Lea to seduce (not that that'll take much).]

I do like them, even though I wouldn't have picked them out myself. And I don't think it'll spoil anything for you if I tell you that your magic clothes from Yen Sid feature plaid. It looks surprisingly good on you.

That's kind of weird. What is it, some kind of hivemind? Whatever, I'm taking it. Especially when you put it like that.

[ She would tilde if she could, verbally. ]

Don't ask me how your brain works, I gave up on understanding it ages ago. I think it's more that you've always liked plaid, so it stands to reason all the others around here would too.

[ Her facial expressions are so much less subtle though. Heart right on her sleeve and all that. ]

Guess so. Not like most of us Axels had a lot of room to be expressive until recently.
