[hot off the presses, this one, horrendous new clothes and all. wherever it is in the DR's apartment building that Lea's chosen to roost, that's where Isa's getting ~~yeeted~~ catapulted, quite literally. at least it had the decency to drop her outside the apartment, right? enjoy the distinct sound of someone colliding hard with the wall next to the door and crumpling into a groaning mess on the floor. there's sand on her shoes, and a familiar frisbee came with her, dropped a short distance from where she landed. knock knock, Lea.]

[you know that thing that characters in Ghibli movies do, where they get the full-body shiver and their shoulders hunch up, and their hair kind of stands on end for a second?]

That's-- hmm.

[she's warming up to it, though, and gets her fingers wrapped gently around one of the tentacles to see what it feels like. she looks a little thoughtful at first, but then her face starts going red, and she only has eyes for the floor. see what you did, Lea.]

[ Goddamn her black and white vision. Now she can't see Isa blushing. Is this how dogs feel or whatever? She's going to be an ass and wrap one of the tentacles around Isa's wrist, with the others going further up her arm. Maybe she'll go for her face or neck or whatever and see if Isa decks her. ]

How bad is it? Be honest.

[she's considering just leaving immediately, only not, because the problem is that it feels weird but in a really good way. she's tense, but not making any moves to pull away or anything.]

Uh. I'm not sure that bad is the right word.

[to be totally fair, Lea already having mentioned the tentacle room and exactly what it's for is just a garnish next to the fact that Isa's already got an enormous amount of sexual frustration built up. her mind probably would've gone where it currently is anyway.]

What is it, gross?

[ It's a couple wriggling tentacles thicker than her fingers, she's of the belief that Isa is disgusted and unsure of how to handle them at all. She's gonna keep harassing her by climbing them up her arm. ]

[oh my god are you fucking-- she always knew Lea was one of the more obtuse people in the universe at times, but this is like, Sora levels of obtuse. it is a little gross but that's part of the mixture of feelings she's getting. in the spirit of starting over and not ever doing what Saix would've done ever again, she still doesn't shut this entire thing down and lock it up where no one can see it.]

No, it's-- look, remember you mentioned that room earlier?

[maybe she'll finally wake up and this will have been the longest and weirdest dream ever.]

[ Even with her eyes the way they are, it's obvious when the realization hits her face. ]

Oh.

[ A pause from her, as the tentacles start uncoiling. She's gone a little pink across the nose herself because she has no idea what Isa might be thinking.

But then — ]

Did you want to practice—

[ Preemptively moving in case she goes for the face! ]

[EYEROLL.]

Moving a little fast, aren't you?

[that wasn't a no, though. but like, at least make out with her once before you jump straight to tentacle fingering, Lea.]

Come on, it was a joke. Although—

[ She could point out that she didn't hear a no, but... nah. She doesn't actually want to be killed today. She's going to use the tentacles to pluck another potion off the shelf, but this one doesn't have a label. It's soft blue and glowing. ]

[Isa flaps a hand at her dismissively, though she's still blushing fiercely and is amazed at herself for being so coherent, when she feels this flustered. whoops, the flustered just came out in how her wings are fluttering anxiously, and just fanned a tiny potion bottle off a nearby shelf. it hits the floor and leaves a glittery magenta splatter.]

Take the rest of it home for later if you want, but you've got a lot of ground to cover before I'm up for that.

Joke. Relax.

[ Stop it! She's turning pinker and she's aware of it! But she'll stop harassing Isa. She doesn't even slide those tentacles along the wings like she really wants to, and instead takes a sip from the new glowing bottle. ]

[thank god, because if she had everything in the room would be broken now, including Lea's face.]

I can't believe you're drinking another one. I'm gonna have to go find a bucket to carry you out of here in.

It's not like I'll turn into a puddle. I can't believe you quit at one, it's not even that much.

[ She blinks and her eyes are back to normal, but parts of her hair, hidden under the larger locks, seem to be tipped in blues. ]

[oh good, she can see how red Isa's face still is. Isa scowls a little and moves back to the shelf with the other potion she'd been considering. also just a hair color change, yawn.]

Fine, I'll do the other one I found. But I got way more with that first one than you did, five entirely new body parts.

I think two of those count as a set.

[ Just sayin'. Also this is the bird potion, and those tufts of blue are actually macaw feathers. ]

Arms count as a set too, but I still have two of them to get you in a headlock with.

[oh. well, whatever. here she goes with her second potion, the whole thing because what is moderation. her hair turns into a thick lion's mane almost immediately, though still blue, with matching ears popping up behind and slightly further out than the antennae, and whoops, her coiled fairy dragon tail turned into a coiled and pissed off snake. at least the fire-breathing goat head isn't a thing yet.]

[ Oh shit. Lea's eyes light up because she obviously thinks this is the coolest thing ever. Although she does look a little ridiculous with the weird fairy dragon parts remaining. But still. ]

The snake is overkill, but. Can I get a picture?

[ She's already reaching for her phone with the tentacles. ]

[Isa heaves the most long-suffering sigh, but flaps one hand in a "go ahead" gesture before folding her arms. it's worth noting that her hair still has a shitload of fairy dust on it.]

If anything else of mine changes I'm leaving, this is getting ridiculous.

[ Hell yeah! She'll have to use her human hand for the actual picture taking, but she seems to be getting more comfortable with the tentacles as the minutes pass. ]

Hey, you're the one that drank a second potion. It'll probably wear off soon. Ish.

Nuh-uh, you goaded me into the second one, so it's your fault.

[admittedly it's never taken very much to get Isa to do something like that, if it's at Lea's nudging. "hey, you should get your ears pierced." "okay" "wait, really?" Isa's gazing thoughtfully at that tentacle hand again, better distract her before everyone gets flustered again.]

Isn't it always my fault?

[ She's gonna move over to get another selfie with Isa, especially since she's noticed the sugary fairy dust sparkles. Here's hoping Isa doesn't spot them in the camera. ]

Yes, but this is extra your fault.

[this day of absurdity is catching up with her, clearly. instead of just shutting down, her usual filter that would keep her from being horny and/or sulky is gone. she doesn't spot the sparkles, mostly because she's too distracted by the feathers she can see in Lea's hair. gonna just... tweak one, gently.]

[ Lea jumps at the feeling and whips her head to the side to stare at her. ]

That felt super weird.

[Isa just looks smug, and her snake tail might be trying to bite Lea on the ass.]

Good, it serves you right.

Like skin-pulling weird, it— Hey, hey! Don't make me do it again.

[ She's brandishing her tentacle arm like a weapon. ]

[it's not a threat if she'd enjoy it, Lea. and speaking of threats, Isa has her mouth open to respond, but then tilts and almost falls into several potion shelves from the sudden weight of one of her wings turning into a goat head and neck. it belches a little bit of smoke, and then yells derisively at Lea.]
