no running in the halls!
[hot off the presses, this one, horrendous new clothes and all. wherever it is in the DR's apartment building that Lea's chosen to roost, that's where Isa's getting yeeted catapulted, quite literally. at least it had the decency to drop her outside the apartment, right? enjoy the distinct sound of someone colliding hard with the wall next to the door and crumpling into a groaning mess on the floor. there's sand on her shoes, and a familiar frisbee came with her, dropped a short distance from where she landed. knock knock, Lea.]

Why? They attacked me, I was just defending myself.
[everyone here knows that's bullshit.]

[ Says she, the most extra person in the room. But hey, who is she to stop Isa from murdering a race of candy fairies and all that. Hang on, she's pulling out her phone to snap a picture. Of Isa. ]
no subject
You're one to talk. That's how both of us work, anyway.
no subject
[ They should get going, now that Isa's committed fairy genocide, but first, lemme take a selfie. She's gonna leave the bowl of food on the ground and hook an arm around Isa to take their first friendly selfie since she got here. ]
no subject
[at least Isa's familiar with this activity by now, after her several days of being around people with phones. she's trying to look annoyed but it's not working very well, she's got the tiniest lopsided smile.
no subject
[ That's gonna be her phone background at some point and you cannot stop her. Anyway, she detaches from Isa and goes to pick up the bowl o' food. ]
Ready?
no subject
[Isa's gonna be so mad whenever she discovers the state of her hair, probably whenever she's rounding up clothes. also that's not really to-go food, Lea, what are you doing.]
no subject
[ Any food is a to-go food if you're brave enough. Let's just go through this conspicuously placed tree in this candy forest, since it's the door we came in through. This is a good, proper introduction to the weird ass rooms and doors in this place. ]
no subject
[she did, it's true, and they both know it. also that's... weird, but makes sense, kind of. Isa's gonna filch some bit of something from the bowl, to get rid of the candy taste.]
no subject
[ She has some cheesy breads in there. Anyway, once they're out and close the door it's just a normal hallway again. Isn't that weird? ]
What do you want to see? We've got world rooms, weird rooms, crowds of teenagers in the main areas...
no subject
That would go over well, the two of us walking up to some teenagers to stare at them. Let's find a room like you mentioned before, that does animal parts.
no subject
I mean, considering the amount of— no, nevermind. C'mon, what you want is a potion room.
[ Should she hook her arm around Isa's to be annoying, though. ]
no subject
Will the potion wear off when we leave, like Halloween Town did?
[there weren't any feathers lying around the apartment, at least. boy, wait until Isa finds out about the naga Axel who lives on the first floor of the apartment building.]
no subject
Probably not!
[ She's very cheerful about that. ]
no subject
...well. I guess you're lucky I don't have anything better to do.
[she likes to know what she's getting into before she gets into it, is all. if she wasn't like that before they decided to infiltrate a castle full of scientists just to figure out what happened to a guy they barely knew, she certainly is now.]
no subject
[ Together, is what she wants to say, but apparently she still has time to catch up. It makes her wonder if she'll be like Riku was, with half-forgotten memories. ]
Not having anything better to do, I mean. C'mon, it's not far. There are a lot of these.
no subject
I'd better not end up going back to the point where you left off, I don't want to experience all that again.
no subject
Prob'ly won't. Never heard of that happening before. You'll probably end up back home and one day I'll just be like 'so hey, remember that weird place where you committed fairy genocide?'
no subject
That... would be weird, if I ended up back there. Like, for good. It wasn't bad there, but.
[but she's ducking her head so her hair hides her face, which means whatever was supposed to come after the "but" is mildly embarrassing.]
no subject
[ She genuinely can't figure out why it would be weird. Everything bad is over with, right? ]
no subject
...look, it's really nice here. There were a lot of people around back home.
[don't make her say it, it'll just call attention to how weird and possessive of their friendship she is.]
no subject
You'll get used to them. But hey, if it's stressing you out don't think about it. You're stuck here for now anyway.
no subject
Mostly it'd just be jarring to go from this back to that, I think.
[and then with the knowledge that there was the Lea here that she'd been torn away from, if she went home and stayed there. that would suck.]
no subject
It always is. What kind of potion are you after?
no subject
You mean I can choose besides just "animal parts"?
