no running in the halls!
[hot off the presses, this one, horrendous new clothes and all. wherever it is in the DR's apartment building that Lea's chosen to roost, that's where Isa's getting yeeted catapulted, quite literally. at least it had the decency to drop her outside the apartment, right? enjoy the distinct sound of someone colliding hard with the wall next to the door and crumpling into a groaning mess on the floor. there's sand on her shoes, and a familiar frisbee came with her, dropped a short distance from where she landed. knock knock, Lea.]

[ She doesn't actually know what Red is, but it's just easier to call him a zombie. ]

[Isa's eating something with meat, that's all that matters right now. it's delicious.]
no subject
The kid is creepy though! Like I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have nightmares.
no subject
So stay away from him then, jeez. If you didn't follow Rikus around it wouldn't be an issue.
no subject
Hey, I only follow one Riku around. I'd show you her place but she probably wouldn't appreciate it.
[ Through a mouthful of turkey: ]
Guess I'll have to explain all of that.
no subject
[no, she knows what Lea means. and she'll be putting a stop to any eating of the environment before it even begins; she remembers the reports from Wonderland.]
no subject
Look, there's not a lot about this place that isn't weird besides the people we know. What good is it if I can't crash her place?
no subject
You could try inviting yourself over, that's a step up from crashing. Besides, if she has a boyfriend you'll probably avoid her wanting to murder you that way, unless you've already walked in on them.
no subject
The fact that I'm still alive should answer your question. But what I meant about explaining was — well, you.
no subject
[she's tried, it doesn't work. :|b]
no subject
Hey, I did. It's still a lot to take in.
no subject
When did you have a chance to, when we were asleep?
[was Isa sleeping more soundly than she realized? that's not good. she's looking disgruntled over her plate of meat.]
no subject
[ Look,
She had a lot on her mind at the time. Now she's going to have to keep her phone away from Isa or something. ]
no subject
Kept you up, did I?
no subject
I was sleeping when you showed up, you know. That makes it my third nap.
no subject
That's fair. Is everything naps or do you sleep like a regular person?
no subject
[ She's got her hands full between the leaf-plate and the turkey leg, so she's going to bite grapes off of the bunch and eat them like that, hands-free. ]
no subject
[surely these two know how to converse without giving each other shit, where's the button to activate nice mode? Isa is smiling though; she can tell they just bounced off of another argument.]
no subject
[ She's in nice mode! She's just not in lost dog mode, which is when Lea gets all goopy and affectionate. It'll cycle again soon, I'm sure. She's pretty much done with the turkey leg at this point, but there's so much bread left. Who said anything about a balanced diet? ]
no subject
It's a wonder you helped save the world, with all that downtime.
no subject
[ She eats salad!! Sometimes. She just happens to like carbs and sugar to make up the majority of her diet. At least she eats fruits, as evident by these grapes she's demolishing now. The turkey leg, picked clean, is set on top of a boulder. ]
no subject
It's true, you can complain and get crumbs everywhere without even getting out of bed.
[now she really does just look fond. Lea seems like the type of kid who would've made big weekend plans before even getting up, and meanwhile her overnight guest is thirteen and wants to know where the goddamn coffee is before you carry on like that.]
no subject
And still save the day. I'm just that awesome.
[ Speaking of the boulder, she's going to break a chunk off of it and pop it into her mouth. ]
no subject
I wouldn't go that far. I appreciate you starting me off gently with the actual food that looks like food.
no subject
Why would I pass over the obvious food? Tell me it's not delicious.
[ The boulder is crunchy but easy to get down, and Lea is grinning like an asshole while she eats, casually eating the remaining grapes. She picks up the now bare stem and takes a bite of the leaf, which also makes a crunchy noise. ]
