[hot off the presses, this one, horrendous new clothes and all. wherever it is in the DR's apartment building that Lea's chosen to roost, that's where Isa's getting yeeted catapulted, quite literally. at least it had the decency to drop her outside the apartment, right? enjoy the distinct sound of someone colliding hard with the wall next to the door and crumpling into a groaning mess on the floor. there's sand on her shoes, and a familiar frisbee came with her, dropped a short distance from where she landed. knock knock, Lea.]

[well, that'd be like a lot of other days over the years they've known each other, wouldn't it? Isa lays there in silence for a minute while she tries very hard to remember where her phone would even be. it's in her jacket pocket, over... there, somewhere. on the floor, even, since she was too distracted at the time to do anything tidier with her clothes like she normally would.

ugh. time to get up then, grudgingly, stretching until her back pops once she's on her feet, and shambling over to her clothes to find her phone. the time doesn't actually matter, but old habits die hard.]

[ It'll be a little while before Lea sits up, her hair a huge disaster and her face looking generally not really happy with the concept of being awake. But she is, since her brain said no more sleep for her. ]

[who let these two bitches be friends, honestly. she's sorted out her clothes by the time Lea sits up, and is frowning at her jacket as she makes a mental list of the clothes she needs to find today. this is good outside clothing but it's a bit much for indoors hanging around. where's a hoodie when you need one?]

[ Hey fuck u. Lea gives a very long-suffering sigh and stretches, cracking more joints than should be healthy, and then climbs out of bed without even bothering to look for her phone. She's heading straight for the kitchen. ]

[no u. time to just. go through more of Lea's clothes and find something comfy to cover the gun show with, because she's cold and the only other option is to get back in bed. she'll wander after Lea in a couple of minutes, in whatever she's managed to find.]

[ Good luck finding anything other than long-sleeve shirts. She might have a jacket, way down deep in the bottom of the clothes chest, but like. It's not like she needs it much.

Lea's downing approximately half a quart of milk before saying anything. ]

You want coffee?

[goddammit. fine, then she's got a long-sleeved shirt on with her jacket open over it. her hair's kind of a disaster too, after that much sleep. is there a table in here, she's gonna sit down at it and yawn into her arms.]

[ Make her get a cool jean jacket while you're finding clothes, Isa. She can put pins all over it or something else that she thinks makes her look cool. Time to make exactly two cups of coffee, because I think I established in an earlier tag that she has a keurig machine or something but it's a mystery. ]

Should we go find food or do you want to make something?

[ Her cooking mana has yet to regenerate. ]

[if anyone needs a cool lesbian jacket with pins and patches, it's Lea. Isa's fashion is way too boring for that kind of thing.]

[ I mean, it usually does. Lea is just kind of not bringing up Things, like that'll help solve anything. But that is her m.o. — ignore any possible problems until it's too late. ]

[that's certainly true. Isa's just going to rest her head on her arms until the coffee's ready, she's groggy still. at least she can do that here and doesn't have to keep up appearances anymore. she'll probably have war flashbacks if she sees a clipboard, now that things are normal again.]

[ Probably. It won't be more than a couple minutes, and Lea will even fix up the coffee for her before setting the mug down in front of her arms. ]

[thank 4 coffee, u da best. time to slam back like half the mug at once.]

Hm. You mentioned weird rooms, last night, I-- Do I want to know what kind of weird?

[are we talking like, Demyx would consider them weird, or Xigbar would consider them weird.]

There's an alien tentacle room that wants to put it in you.

[ She stares over her mug, sipping her coffee delicately. Okay, that's on the extreme end, but she asked about weird and she got weird. ]

[Xigbar levels of weird, okay. Demyx would probably find tentacles normal, lbr. Isa just stares at her for a few seconds, but doesn't go as red as she probably would have if she was completely awake, and hadn't asked, also.]

[ She could explain, but it would be a shot in the dark. Who knows how, or why, or what kind of effect it has. She has not been in there. ]

There also rooms that are just voids, rooms that are words, rooms that do weird shit to you or simulate things, rooms full of clothes, rooms full of potions...

Not the health kind of potion. The "you're going to have animal parts now" kind of potion.

...that doesn't sound so bad. Would depend on the parts, I guess. A clothing room should definitely be on the list, but that's not exactly fun or interesting.

[ Lea would be suspicious. She knows about The Brownies. ]

Food, then exploring, then clothes.

[no just think of it, they encounter brownies, and Lea looks up at the skybox control booth and the Silent Hill dog gives her the thumbs up through the window.]

Yeah! They were red with all these vibrant colors underneath. Almost made me want to dye my hair.

[ She was a Macaw, but she's forgotten the name of it. ]

[a parrot, of course. Lea gets a big old eyeroll while Isa sips more coffee.]

Probably nothing that interesting. At least there's no way something like that could backfire, since I don't have any animal phobias.

[no just that ideally it would be something flashy OR loud, not both. and watch, now it'll do something less obvious for Isa that's still a critique on some part of her personality, like a porcupine.]
