[just as planned. no, there was no planning on Isa's part, Lea is just a warm pillow, and she would feel bad if she knew Lea wasn't getting proper sleep. at least she wasn't like that all night. will it help if she curls up more tightly and removes her face from Lea's person? the arm is still in place, but that little bit of noise was enough to make her move. how is she even breathing under there, it is a mystery.]

[ Rude as hell. The worst. Isa removing her face from sensitive stomach skin (and probably that scar, let's be realistic) makes Lea give a shuddering sigh of relief, and she carefully wiggles closer to the headboard in order to prop herself up on her elbows and look around, blearily, for her phone. ]

What time...?

[sorry Lea, all you're getting is some muffled grumbling, because why are you moving and also talking. and just for that the arm gets removed too, so Isa can go full fetal position. it's amazing how small she can make herself.

(Axel says what the fuck, why don't you kids have clocks in your house, back in my day we didn't have phones that told us the time, we had to look at the sun and figure out from that what time it was.]

[ Even if Lea had a clock she would forget to wind it or put it somewhere where she couldn't see it from the bed. Maybe Isa will improve the house, which thus far only has basic furniture, pillows, a couple personal items that she's found, and trash in it.

Lea finds her phone and stares at it as she tries to comprehend the time. Then she drops it between the pillows and rolls onto her side, leaning into the Isa roll that has formed. A slow rising cinnamon roll in the oven that is her bed. Her body heat is really only a perk in bed if you don't overheat.

What if she just drowsily curls into a hug over her? ]

[the grumbling stops, at least, but it's because Isa's suddenly gone rigid. it only lasts a minute or so, while she groggily processes the situation, determining that she still feels like people and there's only a limited array of people who would just lay on her like that, whether she was back home or still here in the dressing room. finally she squirms around under Lea enough to poke her head out from under all the covers. why are you like this, bestie.]

[ Too many hugs as a child. She has no concept of personal space now, is what it is. She's already falling back asleep by that point, and appears to be dozing at least mostly peacefully, despite the awkward positioning. ]

[really playing with fire today huh, Lea. did she ever have a concept of personal space? Isa stares at her for a few more seconds, and then sighs, withdrawing under the covers like the world's most ill-tempered turtle. back to sleep for a bit then, with a Lea-blanket this time. but only a bit, because she has gotten a lot of sleep now.]

[ Zzzzz she's not really sleeping well, just dozing, in that point where she can feel sleep pulling her but she can't really sleep. So she'll be moving around a bit until Isa decides to get up or whatever. That's what you get for sleeping on her, I guess. Five more minutes. ]

[what did i say about the wiggling, god. after a few minutes of being wiggled on, an arm emerges from under the covers with a pillow in hand, and clobbers Lea in the head, or tries to. it's hard to aim when you can't see and don't really give a shit.]

[ Pow, right in the nose. She has a lot of it, you know. Lea yelps and retreats immediately, all paws off, and retreats to her side of the bed. ]

What was that for?

You know what. What time is it?

[she doesn't sound grumpy, at least, but that's better. time to starfish, which gets her head out from under the covers again. she looks sleepy and rumpled and comfortable, and has absolutely nothing from yesterday on her mind for the time being.]

What am I, your clock? Check your phone.

[ She's busy with her face pressed into the pillow. What if she just doesn't get out of bed. What then? ]

[well, that'd be like a lot of other days over the years they've known each other, wouldn't it? Isa lays there in silence for a minute while she tries very hard to remember where her phone would even be. it's in her jacket pocket, over... there, somewhere. on the floor, even, since she was too distracted at the time to do anything tidier with her clothes like she normally would.

ugh. time to get up then, grudgingly, stretching until her back pops once she's on her feet, and shambling over to her clothes to find her phone. the time doesn't actually matter, but old habits die hard.]

[ It'll be a little while before Lea sits up, her hair a huge disaster and her face looking generally not really happy with the concept of being awake. But she is, since her brain said no more sleep for her. ]

[who let these two bitches be friends, honestly. she's sorted out her clothes by the time Lea sits up, and is frowning at her jacket as she makes a mental list of the clothes she needs to find today. this is good outside clothing but it's a bit much for indoors hanging around. where's a hoodie when you need one?]

[ Hey fuck u. Lea gives a very long-suffering sigh and stretches, cracking more joints than should be healthy, and then climbs out of bed without even bothering to look for her phone. She's heading straight for the kitchen. ]

[no u. time to just. go through more of Lea's clothes and find something comfy to cover the gun show with, because she's cold and the only other option is to get back in bed. she'll wander after Lea in a couple of minutes, in whatever she's managed to find.]

[ Good luck finding anything other than long-sleeve shirts. She might have a jacket, way down deep in the bottom of the clothes chest, but like. It's not like she needs it much.

Lea's downing approximately half a quart of milk before saying anything. ]

You want coffee?

[goddammit. fine, then she's got a long-sleeved shirt on with her jacket open over it. her hair's kind of a disaster too, after that much sleep. is there a table in here, she's gonna sit down at it and yawn into her arms.]

[ Make her get a cool jean jacket while you're finding clothes, Isa. She can put pins all over it or something else that she thinks makes her look cool. Time to make exactly two cups of coffee, because I think I established in an earlier tag that she has a keurig machine or something but it's a mystery. ]

Should we go find food or do you want to make something?

[ Her cooking mana has yet to regenerate. ]

[if anyone needs a cool lesbian jacket with pins and patches, it's Lea. Isa's fashion is way too boring for that kind of thing.]

[that's certainly true. Isa's just going to rest her head on her arms until the coffee's ready, she's groggy still. at least she can do that here and doesn't have to keep up appearances anymore. she'll probably have war flashbacks if she sees a clipboard, now that things are normal again.]

[ Probably. It won't be more than a couple minutes, and Lea will even fix up the coffee for her before setting the mug down in front of her arms. ]
